Studies on Regular Production System and Reproductive Performance in SPF SD Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
The reproductive performance of SPF SD rats which had maintained from 1988 to 1990 at The Laboratory of Experimental Animal science in KRIGT was investigated.
The results were following ;
1. Average gestation period from mating day to parturition day was 25.1±0.43 days.
2. Average delivering rate was 84.9±7.94%, and that of the forth parity was the lowest(53.1%) in 1990.
3. Average litter size of dams was 12.7±0.51 head, and that of the second parity was 13.2 head.
4. Average weaning ratio was 94.4% and average sex ratio was 1.006.
